We Are Not Prepared For the Imminent Post-Natural Epoch.

we are living in the pre-post natural Epoch and that we seem to be determined to do everything we can to really piss off our great great grandchildren.

First I guess I'd better's explain what I mean by a pre-post natural Epoch.

I like to break the history of Earth life into three Epochs.

First the Natural Epoch.

Then the Epoch we are living in. I call it “Pre-Post-Natural.
It began when humanity started developing technology,
complex communication, and intricate social structures, a few thousand years ago,
and I believe it is coming to an end.

We are now about to enter a new, and very dangerous, "post natural Epoch".

I'm going to describe the first of these epochs in Darwinian terms
because I really believe that the science of evolution is a reasonable if not perfect theory.
But I could just as easily have used creationist terms.
Pre-post naturalism is a fact and does not rely on any specific theory about how we got here.

Throughout most of the history of Earth life, the primary factors which influenced the development of life and the proliferation of species were climate and natural selection.

Up until the development of human
technology,
communication,
and social organization
 – Earth life evolved slowly and naturally, building evermore complex and diverse niches and then filling them.

The process was slow but inexorable.
And one has the sense that nothing but truly cosmic cataclysm could destroy this evermore complex and evermore diverse proliferation of life.

I like to think of us, all of Earthlife, as the technology of the DNA.
And the DNA has done an amazing job.

But if the DNA is an entrepreneur developing an amazing new technology,
it must live with the threat of corporate takeover by rapacious capitalists, looking to exploit that technology for short-term gain.

While it may seem that that analogy got a little out of hand, it's not really that far from the truth.

Because what has been happening
over just the last few thousand years
has been a dramatic change in the way Earth life operates.

In this pre-post natural Epoch things have start speeding up.
Changes are now happening, not just through not the simple process of random mutation and natural selection.
But human technology is forcing changes upon earthlife.

We started by domesticating predators, prey and even plants.
And we learned, through selective breeding procedures, to alter dramatically the nature of our captive species.

And then we started taking over ecological niches, converting them to our own use.
And in the process destroying or at least damaging complex systems which the natural processes have developed over eons.

It has been estimated that 10,000 years ago, at the beginning of this Epoch,
humanity and our domesticated livestock consisted of less than 1% of vertebrates on the planet. Today we are over 98%.

That is what occurred in the pre-post natural epoch. But it is nothing compared to what is to come.

We are about to enter the post natural Epoch.
Soon through technologies some of which are currently in their infancy and some of which are as yet undreamed of,
we will have the capacity to design our own species.

Humanity will take control of all the natural processes.

With great power comes great responsibility.

We have done a lot of unintended damage with the limited power we currently possess.
We are already capable of producing any one of three Holocaust scenarios as I describe in some of my other videos.
And the only social systems we have for averting disaster are weak international agreements which can easily be abrogated by ignorant despots.

Imagine how dangerous it will be when we possess the infinitely greater power which will be ours in the post natural epoch.
If we cannot come together as a species and establish the moral codes and social institutions to control our worst impulses,
we will surely bring disaster.

All of our social, political, economic institutions are far too parochial and shortsighted.
And they are becoming more so.

And our morality is woefully inadequate for the awesome responsibility we are about to inherit.

Geniuses and prophets from Jesus of Nazareth to the Buddha to Eleanor Roosevelt have tried to show us the way but we keep falling back into contempt corruption and consumption.

Today, when we so desperately need to come together in respect not only for all humanity but for all earth life,
hatred and tribalism are on the rise.

Today when we so desperately need to harness the genius of every unique human being,
education systems are faltering and becoming evermore exclusive.

Today when we as a species are about to inherit the power and responsibility to direct the future of earth life,
we are despoiling that inheritance through shortsighted behaviors which produce both climactic disruption and mass extinction of species.

Future generations, whose core technologies will be rooted in the manipulation of DNA and the management of all life on this planet,
will revile us for having destroyed so much of their raw material.

The natural epoch started coming to an end when we arrived on the scene with our technologies, communication skills and complex social organization.

But we have been allowed as a species an adolescent period, during which we could grow into the responsibility we are about to inherit.
That adolescent, pre-post natural Epoch is rapidly coming to a close.

Repent humanity,
for the beginning is at hand.

Make AMERICANS Great Again

It's time to put people first.

The way to make America great again is to make Americans great again.

America is not great because our land is vast and fertile, although it is.
America is not great because our military power is mightier than any in world history, although it is.
America is not great because our economy is overloaded with billionaires and huge corporations, although it is.

America is great because we were founded by human beings throwing off the yoke of tyranny and aristocracy.
Who understood that the main job of a just government is to protect the rights of human beings.

And America is great because, throughout our history, we have striven toward the ideals of:
freedom for each individual to pursue her or his dream,
working together to build a better life for our children and generations to come,
and the ever-expanding goal of more human rights for more human beings.

More human rights for more human beings is not only a fundamental ideal of our nation but it is a driving force, the supercharger, in the advancement of human civilization.

Whenever and wherever human rights are expanding,
the blessings of freedom flow.
Society produces entrepreneurs and geniuses
and life is better for all.

Whenever the number of human rights recognized by a government is reduced,
or the number of humans recognized as possessing those rights is reduced,
tyranny results.

Today we are in a time of restricting human rights here in the United States
and in too many places throughout the world.

But this is only a temporary setback in human history.

And it is our responsibility as citizens of this great nation,
which has for so long lead in the advancement of human rights,
to rise again and fight the tyranny of our own age.

In 1980, Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution altered our history, putting corporations and aristocracy's first.
Today that revolution has reached its zenith and if we do not stop it now it may be too late.

It is time to Radically Reverse Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution
Put People First.

Make Americans Great Again.

Counterrevolution Now.

A True American Patriot Fights Against Tyranny

This time I am going to talk about patriotism.
Not flag waving jingoism, but true american patriotism.

“American patriot” was a term defined by the Revolutionary war.
A war against tyranny.

A war declared by Thomas Jefferson with these words
“all men are created equal, -- they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, --
--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men”

And he declared that any government which became destructive of those rights was Tyranny, and needed to be removed.

An American patriot is a person who defies tyranny.

An American patriotic is a person who fights for government of the people by the people and for the people.

What an American patriot fights for is not a flag with Stars & Stripes.
It is not an Imperial government which subjugates other countries.
It is not a government controlled by corporations and aristocracies.

An American patriot fights against the tyranny of aristocracies and corporations.
An American patriot fights for government which secures human rights
and derives it's just powers from the consent of the governed.

Tyranny is once again abroad in the land.
Patriots Arise, Counterrevolution Now!

America Always Votes For Change

Related Topics: Why We Fight; Ronnie Rodeo; Der Don

I want to talk about why America chose Donald Trump to be president.
It's no big surprise. We were voting for change.

We the people of the United States are not stupid.
We have known there was a problem for a long time.
We've known we are going in the wrong direction ---- and we have tried to change that.

In 1988, Poppy Bush promised us he would make our government kinder and gentler so we voted for him.

When he broke that and other promises, we voted for Bubba who promised to put people first.
But he betrayed us.
Sold out to our enemies – restricting human rights and giving away privileges to corporations and aristocracies.

So we voted against Al Gore because he was too closely associated with Bubba and we thought that W Bush would change things.
He didn't.
But we got derailed by fear and spent the first few years of this century to scared to force change upon our government.

We recovered in 2008 and took the dramatic step of voting for the African-American.
Because he offered hope and change.
He seemed to be to be trying so we gave him a second term but ultimately Backdown Obama let us down as well.

And then comes the 2018 election.
It looks like the Damnocrats are going to offer us change, if we will vote for it.
And we vote for Bernie Sanders.

But the corporations and aristocracies who already own the Rapepublican Party have bought enough of the leadership in the Damnocratic Party to rig the election and give the nomination to their candidate:
Bubba's wife.
We know where this leads.

But something strange is happening on the Rapepublican side.
A candidate who started out as a buffoon has begun to promise change.
Looks like he may actually be on our side.

So once again the election comes down to a choice between more of the same and promised change.
And once again we go for the change.

This time the enemies don't have to co-opt the winner.
He's so incompetent that all they have to do is operate behind his back.
This is even better than they could hoped.

Instead of having to corrupt an honest politician who promised us change,
or pay off an already dishonest politician ----
all they have had to do is feed his ego and pretend that they are doing what he wants,
while he keeps us distracted with his shenanigans.

Meanwhile the Rapepublicans in Congress and in cabinet positions are subverting our government,
restricting human rights,
and funneling huge quantities of money and power to their lords and masters the large corporations and wealthy aristocracies.

Well it is time to declare this circus over.

We need a candidate who knows the enemies and is willing to fight them, and who can't be bullied or bought off.
And the Damncrats damn well better nominate such a candidate.

Because if they don't promise change
and run a candidate we can believe will deliver,
Trump or Pence may be able to convince enough people that the only change available is the chaos of incompetence.

And the one thing you can count on is that the winner of the election will be the candidate the electorate believes is most likely to deliver change.

the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day

Armistice Day.
It's a holiday celebrated on the 11th day of the 11th month.
These days they call it Veterans Day but it started out 100 years ago as a celebration called Armistice Day.

The day commemorates an armistice. An agreement between a bunch of colonial European Nations That it was time to conclude a little exercise in slaughter which I call the war among Queen Victoria's grandchildren.

Woodrow Wilson, who by the way it was both horrible racist and a wonderful progressive internationalist, called the conflict “the war to end all wars”.

This was a brilliant exercise in re-branding,

which actually might have started a whole new and very hopeful trend in world history.
But, then as now, a group of reactionary Republican United States Senators put their ill-conceived short-term personal interests above the good of mankind.

And so the emerging Imperial power declined to join in the effort its leader had inaugurated.

If you all don't follow all that I just said, don't try to decipher it.
The simple fact is that 100 years ago our ancestors had a chance to change the way humans interact it on this planet and initiate an era of peaceful internationalism.

In celebration of that optimistic moment at the end of a horrific episode of hatred – they declared a holiday called Armistice Day.

Now, in less than two decades the armistice fell apart, nationalism reemerged, and war once again began to envelop the world.

So they changed the name of the holiday. Instead of celebrating the hopeful agreements which brought an end to the slaughter, they started celebrating the slaughter itself.

Now a holiday glorifying slaughter would be a difficult proposition to sell even to the most rabidly nationalistic citizens. So instead they named the holiday after the primary victims of the slaughter – – – the soldiers themselves.

But the key difference is that Armistice Day was a celebration of the end of war – – – of peace – – – and hope for its continuation.

Veterans Day is a glorification of war.

By celebrating the soldiers, the the most immediate victims of war, it is designed to actually encourage young men and women to willingly sacrifice their lives in the interests of empire and inter-nation conflict.

Now I have nothing against veterans. I certainly don't blame them for the fact that the war to end all wars did not indeed accomplish peace.

As Phil Okes minded us it is always the old lead us to the wars always the young who fall.

But I do blame our leaders. And I do blame their owners. The corporations and aristocracies who these days control our government.

Now not all those corporations and aristocracies are warmongers, but many of them are.

We've had two presidents of the United States who prior to their presidencies were very successful commanders of our armies in major and mostly just conflicts.

George Washington and Dwight Eisenhower.
Both of them in their final messages to us as president warned that standing armies and permanent warmaking industrial establishments are bad ideas.

Both of them understood the danger of warfare not only to the lives of young citizens but to our very democracy.

So,
On this hundredth anniversary of Armistice Day, I recommend we turn to the original intention of the holiday.

Instead of celebrating war I am advocating for peace.

Instead of perpetuating conflict between combative nationstates, let us all declare an armistice.

Instead of fomenting hate and fear that encourages us to fight each other, let's recognize that there is no Us OR Them.
There is only we
and we are all in this together

Instead of fighting amongst ourselves for Trumped up reasons, let's cooperate in an effort to fight against the enemies of all humanity and all earth life – – – poverty
famine
global warming
and all the other impediments to a better life and expansion of human rights for all humanity.

In that spirit, I wish y'all
Happy Armistice Day

Government Is Not The Enemy

Ronnie Rodeo lied to us.

Related Topics: Why We Fight; Enemies; Ronnie Rodeo; Der Don; More Human Rights For More Human Beings

This was one of the many lies we were told by Ronnie Rodeo.
He told us that government is our enemy.

Now I talk a lot about Ronnie Rodeo in many of my videos. He was president between 1981 and 1989.
Ronnie started the Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution from which we are still suffering.
He represented the interests of wealthy corporations and aristocracies, who helped him get elected so he could increase their power and wealth and start the process of retracting human rights.

Now the main way he did that was by promulgating laws and regulations which were favorable to his employers.

But another very powerful and somewhat less direct – – – part of his Reactionary Rapepublican Revolutionary message was to try to convince the American people that government is evil.

Even though he was acting as the chief executive of our government, Ronnie kept telling us that we couldn't trust it.

The implication was that other institutions, (specifically the economic institutions which had hired him to deliver this message) were more deserving of our trust.
A complete lie!

Now they had been trying to sell this message that government is evil for quite some time. But it had been a tough sell with the American people.
In the 1930s, government had ameliorated the horrors of the Great Depression
(which of course had been caused by corporations and aristocracies).

In the 1940s the United States government marshaled the resources of the economy and the military to defeat obvious evils within the world both East and West.

In the 1950s through infrastructure and education projects the government dramatically raised the standard of living of most American citizens. What is left of our public universities and our transportation network is the result of that effort, -------
and if it had been continued we would be so much better off today.

In the 1960s and 70s, despite some stupid Imperial escapades on the world stage, the government advanced civil rights and medical care while continuing to invest in education and infrastructure.

So, against all the good that government had done during the lifetimes of American citizens who voted in the 1980 election,
it was a pretty tough sell to convince us that government was evil.

But just like his successors today, Ronnie stirred up hatred and exclusionism to help deliver his message.
He was much more subtle about it than der don, but the message was clear to those for whom it was intended, and invisible to those who might reject it.

Now Ronnie benefited from some painful economic adjustments which we were facing in the latter part of the 1970s.
Much about the industrial and international strategy which the United States government and especially the United States economy had been following was becoming unsustainable.

Now the resources did exist to solve the economic problem, but it would have required creativity and long-range planning on the part of our economic institutions.
Unfortunately those economic institutions were dominated by the very corporate and aristocratic forces supporting Ronnie; and simply were not up to the monumental task which they were confronting.

As at other times in our history when painful adjustments are necessary, which business and capital are incapable of imagining and executing – – – this was a time when government, and academia, needed to lead the way.

But that would have entailed some cession of power by the corporations and aristocracies controlling business capital.

Their solution was to fight back. Ronnie was their leading weapon. If they could take control of federal and state government, they could squash the efforts to respond to the crisis with effective government and academic efforts.

Since some might see what they were doing and resist, a part of the message was that government is evil and academics don't know as much as they think they do.

And the amazing thing is, that almost 4 decades later, both of those things are true.

Government, on both the state and federal level is now controlled by cabals of corporations and clubs of aristocracies. And it is doing much evil.

Academic institutions are forcing their students into crippling lifelong debt in order to receive a fundamental education. Or just taking their money and not even bothering to educate them. A perfect example being Trump University.

So cabals of corporations and clubs of aristocracies which supported Ronnie Rodeo taking over our government have accomplished a self-fulfilling prophecy. They said government was evil. And they have proven it to be true.

But government is not intrinsically evil. As a matter of fact government is the only institution that can challenge the power all those corporations and aristocracies.

They still fear it. That is why they continue to go to such great lengths to get us to believe that government is evil.

In this country, government is founded upon the principles of the Declaration of Independence and structured by the Constitution.
And it is still a Republican Democracy. It derives it's power from the consent of the people.

They have tried to make us believe that the corporations are persons. But they are not. And they still don't have the vote.

And they have tried to engineer it so only candidates supported by and beholden to wealthy aristocracies and corporations can get elected.
But both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump proved that that was not true.

For most of our history as a nation, government has been a force for good;
For progress;
For expansion of human rights.
----- It can be so again.

We must reverse all of the tenants of Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution.
Including the big lie that government is intrinsically evil.
And we can do that by electing people who will make government a force for good again in this great nation.

Counterrevolution now.

Change The Direction

America has been going in the wrong direction for four decades now and it's time to reverse course.
We have been misled and our government has been stolen by corporations and aristocracies who are the enemies of the american people. This is the result of Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution.

I talk a lot about that, and the reasons we've been going in the wrong direction in other videos. i will mention some of that history here, but mostly i want to focus on directional changes we should be making now.

It's time to change the direction of our society.
I have three specific suggestions which I think will have major impact in bringing about that change.

The first is to conduct people's campaigns.

Our political campaigns have been hijacked by aristocracies and corporations seeking to buy power.
And recently even foreign enemies of our nation have started influencing our elections.
It's time to change the way we conduct our campaigns and bring the power back to the people.

The second is to fund the future.

We are still a very wealthy nation. And it is time to use government as it was intended to direct our wealth toward projects which will create a better future for all Americans.

The third is to bring back the core Ideal of the American experiment in human government and the supercharger of civilization.
Stated simply it is "more human rights for more human beings".

Let me describe in a little more detail those three points.
Conduct people's campaigns,
fund the future,
and more human rights for more human beings.

First, conduct people's campaigns.

All of our political campaigns should be of, by and for the voters.

These days the focus has not been on the voters but on the candidates.
How much money they can raise, and how much television time they can occupy.

We need to move the focus back to the voters.
Giving us, the citizens of the United States, accurate information upon which to make informed choices.

The problem is that money has taken over.

Now money was always important in campaigns, but the scale has exploded.
And now, most of that money is coming from the enemies, both foreign and domestic, of we the people of the United States.
Because money is so important, politicians spend most of their time fund-raising instead of doing the people's business.
The campaigning never stops.

Politicians are always fund-raising

Here are some practical suggestions for decreasing the influence of nonvoters and bringing campaigns back to serving the purposes of American citizens.

First: Time limits. No campaign should last more than six months and in most cases a month or two is probably sufficient.

Number two: Public campaign funding.
The government should give the same amount of money to each candidate who qualifies to be on the ballot. And that amount will be a tiny fraction of what is being spent on campaigns today.

I am not proposing that candidates run their campaigns solely on the money that they get from the government. They can take contributions from voters who support them.

Notice i said voters!
No contributions to any American political campaign should be permitted by nonvoters.
No corporations, no foreign governments, no political action committees.
Period!

And i am also proposing spending limits and contribution limits.

So with a less time and less money to spend, how do candidates get their message to the voters?
That's easy.
Free media.
We had this before. There used to be something called the equal time rule.
In those days it applied to television, radio and Newspapers.
Today we may need to include such other media channels as Facebook and Google News.

So what do I mean by “conduct people's campaigns”?
Time Limits
Funding Changes
public funding
contribution limits
no contributions from non voters
Free media

also, In other videos I cover a couple of constitutional amendments which will help to bring back campaigns to their original purpose of informing voters.
One constitutional amendment involves term limits and other limitations on members of the House of Representatives.
And the other declares that corporations are not human beings and do not possess human rights.
Including the right to buy politicians.

The second recommendation I wish to offer to help change our direction is funding the future.

We need to use the power of government to redirect our wealth as a nation toward making a better future for our children and grandchildren.
And I believe that there are three important categories on which we need to focus.
Infrastructure,
Research,
and Education.

There has been a lot of talk about our crumbling infrastructure.
The only reason it is crumbling is that we have been headed in the wrong direction.
Before Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution happened in 1980, we were aggressively building new
roads,
bridges,
water projects (for drinking, sanitation, and navigation)
housing for lower income Americans,
campgrounds in our national forests,
and so much more.

During these 40 years of misdirection, the corporations and aristocracies have stolen the money which once funded those projects.
We need to take it back.
First to fix those which have fallen into disrepair and then to move forward with new infrastructure projects needed to create that better future for our children and grandchildren.

Second: Scientific Research.
One of the ways in which enemies of the American people have stolen our government and our resources has been through propaganda designed to turn the American people away from respect for science.
Science is not an enemy of the people, and it is not an alternative to religion.
It is a tool which human beings have developed and continue to develop to advance our knowledge, technology, and civilization.

We need to once again to use the power of government to direct resources toward those aspects of scientific exploration which form the foundation of progress.

There are two major categories.
Pure science
and emerging technologies.

And the last major area in which we need to fund that the future is education.

I have more to say about this in some of my other videos. But here I simply want to point out that before Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution, our education system was the best in the world and getting better.

Today we are a disgrace. Our system is underfunded, broken, and unfair.

We need to fund it, fix it, and make it fair.

So the three areas for which I do recommend Funding The Future are:
Infrastructure,
Scientific Research,
and Education.

So far I have discussed two major changes in direction.
Conduct people's campaigns, and fund the future.

My third is something I discuss in many of my other videos.
More human rights for more human beings.

This simple phrase is the promise of the Declaration of Independence.
It is the heart of the American dream.
And it is the most important reason for the success of the United States as a culture as a nation and (when we are at our best) as a shining beacon for all of humanity.

The single greatest crime of Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution was this change of direction.
For the last 40 years, with some exceptions, we have been moving in the direction of fewer human rights for fewer human beings.

Today here-to-fore unthinkable ideologies of racial hatred and misogyny have become part of our political dialogue.
and laws have been promulgated to advance these agenda.
This must stop!

If the United States of America stands for anything, it is the constant advance, generation after generation, toward more human rights for more human beings.
The course of our history has been reversed and we must change it back.

Ronnie rodeo's Reactionary Republican revolution must be reversed by a counterrevolution.
We must change our direction as a people and we must take back our government.

These three changes in direction:
Conduct Peoples Campaigns
Fund the Future
and More Human Rights for More Human Beings
are part of a larger nine point agenda which you may explore in some of my other videos.

In addition to a change of direction, I am also recommending a change of the power structure and a change of the Constitution.
Videos about these recommendations and much more can be found on your friendly neighborhood internet at www.DAFFWOLD.com

Power has been traveling in the wrong direction in this country for the last 40 years. It has been transferred from we the people of the United States to nonhuman entities who are in fact our enemies.

This is all the result of Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution.
Cabals of corporations and clubs of aristocracies have been accumulating power at the expense of human beings.
It's been happening for 40 years, but lately it is getting worse. And it is time to fix it.

This video is part of the series which describes a larger agenda for change which I am recommending. For an overview of this agenda you might want to check out my video "Counterrevolution, A Nine Point Agenda For Change".
In addition to changing the power structure I also have recommendations for changing the direction and changing the Constitution of the United States.

So why change the power structure?
Because the power and wealth of our nation has been stolen and we need to take it back. And if we are going to change the power structure we need to use the institution of government to do it. It is the only tool at our disposal which is powerful enough to overcome our enemies.

And the clear evidence of that is:
our enemy's primary objective for the last 40 years of Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution has been to weaken our government and take control of it.

What kind of changes am I proposing to the power structure?
Simply to redirect government actions toward improving life for human beings now and in the future.
And at the same time reduce the power of aristocracies and corporations.
In other words, a Radical Reversal of Ronnie Rodeo's Reactionary Rapepublican Revolution.

The changes consist of three initiatives.
Refocus Tax Policy
Reform Corporations
Reconsider Warfare

First, Refocus Tax Policy

I recommend three general changes and three specific tax changes.
The general changes consist of
One – making our tax laws clear and easy to understand and comply with
Two – taxing those who can afford it and regulating those who need it
Three - encouraging and enforcing voluntary compliance with our tax laws

The three specific tax changes pertain to to:
Social Cost and Benefit Taxation
the Anti-Aristocracy Tax
and the Pro-Investment Tax

These tax law changes are not really changes so much as a redirection of these tax types back to their original, just purposes in service of a people's government.

First: Social cost and benefit taxes.
These are designed to discourage certain behaviors and encourage others.
As refocused, they will discourage activities which damage human health and environment,
while encouraging those which are good for human beings.

Second: the anti-aristocracy tax
This is is often referred to by its opponents as the “death tax”.
Its purpose is to tax excessive wealth given to beneficiaries who have not earned it.

As you may imagine, aristocracies don't like this tax.
And so they have gutted it by lowering the rates and creating many loopholes.
We need to fix this.
My proposal would close loopholes and raise the rate to the point where, if an aristocracy is trying to transfer more than half $1 billion to undeserving heirs the tax rate would be 98%.

And third the pro-investment tax.
This tax is currently referred to as the capital gains tax.
As presently constituted it makes it easy for those with excess wealth to maintain and grow that wealth.
After the changes I propose its purpose will be to encourage anyone with wealth to invest in funding long-term projects.

For details of these tax changes, you should watch my video: "Refocus Tax Policy. Using Tax Laws To Support Human Rights"

In addition to refocusing tax policy I also recommend reforming corporations and reconsidering warfare.

As to the reform of corporations.
We twenty first century humans accept corporations is a fact of life, as though they have always been here.
But that is not the case.
As a matter of fact corporations are relatively new additions to our culture.

But they have gotten way out of hand.

Their original purpose was to serve the good of humans and society in general.
But they have become a force of their own within society
and have combined with aristocracies to steal the government from human beings.
They have no moral values other than growth and profit.
And often do not plan any further than the next quarterly reports.

I propose three changes to put corporations back in their place within a society operated by and for human beings.

First, re-calibrate time frames.
Cause corporations to look further into the future and behave as responsible citizens.
This can be largely accomplished through the pro-investment tax which I mentioned earlier.

Second, re-balance stakeholder rights.
Instead of ownership being 100% in the hands of shareholders,
I propose that it be shared with:
employees,
the state legislature which granted the corporations charter,
and beneficiaries designated in that charter.

And to restore government control, I recommend, among other things,
the breaking up of monopolies
and holding corporate officers and even shareholders responsible for the behavior of the corporations.

I have much more to say about corporations and the details of these three proposals some of my other videos.

We have talked about refocusing taxes and reforming corporations.
Lastly I propose that we reconsider warfare.

Because warfare is destructive, and not good for human beings.
In a world of economic interdependence and instant communication,
warfare as it has been practiced throughout history is now obsolete.
And our technology has produced an ultimate weapon whose use could destroy human society and much of earthlife.

In America the segment of our economy which supports our warfare efforts consumes far too much of our resources and has an unconscionable amount of power.

But the corporations which benefit from that spending are not the ones who pay the price.
Young human beings are killed or maimed in body and mind by unnecessary wars.

I propose that we
rethink our strategic position.
Report reality, let the people know what we are really spending on warfare.
And redesign our military.

Details on these proposals can be found in my video on reconsidering warfare.

This is not a short video. And yet I have only briefly summarized my proposals for changing the power structure.
* Refocus Tax Policy
* Reform Corporations
* Reconsider Warfare

Inclusion & Exclusionism

Related Topics: Human Beings; Human Society

i'm going to talk about Exclusionism. And it's opposite, Inclusionism
Like all “isms” these are each a set of beliefs which many humans adopt.
-------- And a good, shorthand way of describing a particular point of view.

Whether or not they realize it, every person is more or less one or the other.
An Inclusionist.
Or an Exclusionist.
--- So what is the difference?

An inclusionist is a person who is very happy to live in a world with other kinds of people around.
An exclusionist wants to live in a world where everybody else thinks, believes, looks, acts like him or her.

For example an "islamic fundamentalist” taliban, would be an exclusionist.
But---- so would many of the folks who call themselves evangelical Christians.

And ----- a lot of American rich people are exclusionists.
Now they realize there are other kinds of people in the world.
But they don't want to have anything to do with them.

If you believe that anyone who does not look or act like you is subhuman in some way ,,,, or if you just want to make sure that in your life experience you don't encounter them, you are an exclusionist.

And it's not just the rich. A lot of American poor people are exclusionist too. They seem to be convinced that the world would be a better place if only they could get rid of all the people don't look, …........... or think, or behave, or talk like them.

{Laugh} Well, let me tell you something. It wouldn't.

Now I say that in part because I'm an inclusionist.
I love having other kinds of people around.
Now I don't think i'm better than them ...but I don't think i'm worse either.

I do think I'm wise, clever, good-looking, and an altogether wonderful human being.

But I sure wouldn't want everybody else to look, act, be like me.
It's the diversity of humanity that makes it fun.

It's also what makes it work.

Simple example: I can't have babies.
But I sure am glad that I live in a world where there are women as well as men.
'cause I think babies are a good thing.

Also I was never very good at mathematics.
But because I live in a world where there are people different from me who are good at mathematics, --------all this stuff--- these devices that we are using to communicate are made possible.

now I may not believe in the particular God that you believe in.
or I may not even believe in god at all

But I am happy to live in the world where there are a lot of different humans believing in a lot of different gods and moral systems.
It gives us the opportunity to learn from each other. And to grow in our understanding of what God ---------- or non-God; may be.

Inclusionism makes life richer and more interesting.
Exclusionism may make you feel a little more secure, but it is kind of barren and limiting.

Also .. there is a huge danger lurking in exclusionism.

If everyone I spoke to believed everything that I believe in, I would start thinking that I had all the right answers.
And life would hardly be worth living.

As a matter of fact, I know that I don't have all the right answers. And one of the fascinating things about life is learning from others the possible alternative answers, --- and, ------------- in the process, growing in my own understanding.

That is what it means to be an inclusionist.
I want to live in a world with a lot of different kinds of people, who've got a lot of different beliefs, talents, proclivities, ideas, etc.
I want to interact with other humans.
I want to learn from them.

Practically the only characteristic of other human beings with which I've got a problem – is exclusionism.

It's pretty simple. If we are all happy to be in the world inhabited by each other, then we will get along.
And if we are all willing to respect each other, listen to each other ------
we might even learn to love each other.

Hell, if we take this love stuff too far, we might start treating other animals, plants, all aspects of Earthlife as our cousins and neighbors.

Anyhow – I have found this little Exclusionism / Inclusionism paradigm helpful.

And if you do to, maybe you would want to check out some of my other videos.
There is even one in which I explore the puzzling (at least to me) question:
“If Inclusionism is such a wonderful thing, why are there so many Exclusionists?”

Americans Are Angry

I am an American and I am angry.
If you are an American you are probably angry too.

You might think you are angry because the person in the White House is not the person that you voted for
and he's doing things that you don't believe are in the best interest of this country
Well you're right.
And your anger is justified.

Or You may be angry because the person in the White House is the one you voted for
and you voted for him because you believed that your country had been stolen from you by evil un-American forces and he promised to get it back.
But it looks like the evil forces are standing in his way and preventing him from keeping his promise.

Well, you're right -- you do have a real good reason to be angry.

Now the fact is that the man in the White House is a con man and he doesn't care about America.
But even though he is a con man, he was telling us the truth --- America was stolen.

And the people voted for him had the right idea. Because the only way to get it back is by electing people who:
* number one - believe in the American dream,
* number two - understand who the enemies are, and
* number three - are committed to using the power of government to restore the American dream, the American promise.

Now of course the conman understands this.
So the logical thing for him would have been to identify the enemies,
 encourage you to hate them,
and promise that he would defeat them.

Well of course problem here is that he is one of the enemies.
He is a member of the team which is stolen the American dream.
He does not want to betray his team,
indeed what he has wanted his whole life is to become a more important and acknowledged member of that team.

you see
The real enemies are not people of a different color or those speak a different language.
The real enemies are not people who profess a different religion.
The real enemies are not poor people.
The real enemies are not people who simply want to be part of the great American people and contribute to this experiment in order to create a better life for their grandchildren and for ours.

The real enemies are large wealthy powerful corporations.
And they are large wealthy powerful aristocracies.

There are human beings who run the corporations and human beings who work for the corporations.
There are human beings who are members of the aristocracies.
But it is not the humans who are the enemy is the institutions.
and that is a very important fact.

One of the interesting things about the conman is that he doesn't understand this.
He is a member of a minor aristocracy.
And he is the primary owner of a moderately large corporation.
but he confuses these institutions with his own person.
He thinks the aristocracy and the corporation are himself.

So course even if he wanted to identify the real enemy he wouldn't be able to. He's blind. He cannot see the aristocracies and the corporations.

But that doesn't really matter. His only motivation is what he perceives to be his own self interest.

And he's even wrong about that.

Now the enemy, the aristocracies and corporations which own the American government and much of the world economy, recognize the con man for what he is.

They didn't really want him to become president.
But, when it looked like he might have a chance of winning, they jumped on board his campaign and got as many as possible old their minions in position to advise and assist him.
That's why so much of what he has done in office has been to the benefit of the corporations and aristocracies who own the American government.

Those aristocracies to corporations which we could refer to as the domestic enemies of the American dream actually came late to the party. The con man had already been recognized and co-opted by foreign enemies of the American dream.

Czar Vlad had recognized the potential in the con man and proceeded to do him favors and placed his minions within the circle that ultimately surrounded the con man as he made his move to take power. Some of those were shed over time but some are still trusted advisers to the conman.

So many of the conman's actions, though neutral or even contrary to the agenda of the domestic enemies of the American dream are very much in the interests of foreign enemies, especially Czar Vlad.

But of course the job of a con man is to miss-direct our attention while he is stealing us blind. And that is what is happening.

if you're angry because you love him then he has misdirected your hatred and in blamed it against other humans. and you are blind to what he is actual we doing.

If you are angry because you hate him then he has misdirected your hatred to himself and the people who do believe in him. And he has made you blind.

And while we are all blind with misdirected hatred, these three things are happening:

1) The American dream is being stolen by domestic enemies – –.
2) The American team is being destroyed by foreign enemies, primarily Czar Vlad.

3) The conman is using old-fashioned corruption on a heretofore unimagined scale to destroy our faith in ourselves and our government while he takes as much as he can for himself.

We have every right to be angry.
But unfortunately most of us are directing our anger in the wrong direction.

wake up america.
let's see the con man for what he is and get behind a leader who whats to fight our real enemies!
